2012-08-07 Looking east from Baxter Peak, on the left you can see the Helon Taylor trail that leads up to Pamola Peak and the big dip that we then had to climb to get to Chimney Peak. After Chimney Peak is the Knife's Edge. Here you can get a sense of the steep descent that leads to the mountain basin below. Baxter State Park, Maine.
